The magic is in the opening: a smoky, slightly fruity pineapple over birch and a dry woody base. What "closeness" means here, and what other people have measured
We do not own a gas chromatograph and we will not print a decimal-point similarity score as if we did. Our calls above are editorial judgments from the published note structures, the concentration data and the aggregated reports of owners who have worn both — the method is spelled out on how we review. Where other publications have put numbers on it, they broadly agree with the ordering: ScentCritic's comparison rates Club de Nuit Intense Man at about 80% and Supremacy Not Only Intense at 78% against the original, with Al Haramain L'Aventure trailing at 72%; Tonkava's puts Club de Nuit higher at 85–90% and Supremacy Silver at 80%. Two things are worth taking from that spread. First, everybody puts Club de Nuit first. Second, the fact that two careful comparisons differ by ten points on the same bottle is the best possible argument against trusting any single percentage, ours included.
Concentration is doing more of the work than the price is
